The History of Etrog

Six Generations of Agricultural Devotion

ETROG Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret has farmed the same family premise in Yüreğir, Adana for six generations, since the 1820s. In 2018, food production began in the workshop established on those very grounds.

The ETROG Confectionery concept is the story of a divine energy — first felt during the Sukkot spiritual ceremony on a 1999 visit to Jerusalem — transformed into devotion.

The Foundation Process

Research, development and testing begin after the inspirational journey.

The exclusive collection gardens are established; the brand is shaped.

Nineteen Years of Scientific Perspective

For nineteen years the citrus varieties were studied with a scientific eye. In the light of intensive research, we chose — with great care — exactly which fruit would become each of our confections.

From Seven Tastes to Forty-Nine

The processes were chosen by studying consumer profile, content and consumption for the international market.

Today ETROG produces seven confectioneries. Soon we aim to enter the world market with a full range of forty-nine.

From confections of citrus alone to dried and chocolate-covered variants, sauced expressions, and those enriched with nut, spice and essential oils.
